Do customers get charged to receive text messages?

Standard text message rates apply. These charges originate from wireless carriers. Customers could be charged if they do not have text messaging included in their wireless plan. Most wireless carriers include text message packages with their service agreement.

 

What is a Short Code?

A Short Code is simply a shortened number, usually 5-6 digits long. These numbers allow businesses and organizatinos to send SMS messages much like a phone number.

 

How can my customers stop receiving text messages?

The customer simply needs to reply STOP to any received messages. Once the STOP command is given, the customer will no longer send messages.

 

Are there size limitations for text messages?

A standard text message is made up of 160 characters or less, including letters, spaces, numbers etc.
